How to find the right Icon ID

Each category has an Icon ID - the in-game identifier of a Hytale item (for example Weapon_Sword_Iron, Ore_Copper, Furniture_Crude_Bed). To get one:

Copy it from the game (creative inventory shows the internal ID), or
Browse the full searchable list at hytaleitemids.com and use its copy button.
The icon preview is loaded from hytaletools.org. If a given item has no public PNG, a placeholder is shown - this does not affect the plugin, only the preview.

"Hytale" and all related names, logos, item names and icons are trademarks of Hypixel Studios. This project is unofficial and is not endorsed, sponsored or affiliated with Hypixel Studios in any way. Game asset identifiers are referenced solely to allow server owners to configure the HyTutorial plugin. No game assets are stored, redistributed or modified by this tool.

3. Third-party services

The editor links to and embeds resources from the following independent services. They are not maintained by this project and may change, become unavailable or change their terms at any time. Use of these services is subject to their own respective terms.

hytaletools.org - icon preview PNGs are hot-linked directly from this service. No images are stored on this server.
hytaleitemids.com - linked from the editor as a reference for finding the correct in-game Icon ID.

4. User-generated content

The config.json files produced by this tool are your own content. You are responsible for what you put into them and for complying with the rules of your own server, the HyTutorial plugin and applicable law. The author of this tool has no access to your generated files - everything runs entirely in your browser.

5. Privacy

This page does not set any cookies, does not use analytics, does not track you and does not transmit your input to any server. The only outbound network requests are made by your browser to hytaletools.org for icon previews.
